The internet is full of confusing, often inaccurate information on breastfeeding! Here are some organisations I would suggest using for evidence based information on breastfeeding:

Peer Support Groups

Many parents get a great deal of confidence and reassurance from connecting with other breastfeeding parents through peer support groups, which are usually free to join and run by volunteers. The following organisations run support groups (as well as helplines and help forms)  both in our local areas and around the UK (and indeed in other countries too!)

Many mothers tell me they wish they had felt more supported by family and friends during the early weeks.
